Wendy is such a reliable and caring walker and boarder. Luna loves every moment with her and comes back well exercised and happy. Wendy has also been very flexible in accommodating last minute requests for extra walks or boarding. Can’t recommend enough!!

Wendy has been with us since Kenzie was a wee little puppy and has become an integral part of all of our lives! Kenzie absolutely loves her time with Wendy and the dogs that are part of their posse and I feel so lucky to have someone who so clearly loves our beautiful Border Collie, but also is aligned with our expectations of how she is to behave.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Wendy and my passion is pets.

I have 14 years experience working with pets, large and small. My experience with pets has provided me with a powerful arsenal of knowledge surrounding the care and support of our four legged friends.

After I finished my education, I began my work with animals as a Veterinarian’s Assistant at McCleary Animal Hospital. I then went on to spend 8 years as a general manager of a chain of pet stores and my most rewarding job was with the Oakville Humane Society as an Adoption Agent. I gained additional experience and training working with animals as a volunteer for Jungle Cat World and with  The Toronto Wildlife Centre.

I’m certified in Pet First Aid and able to administer any medication your pet may need, including insulin injections for diabetic pets. I own three rescue dogs myself, two Old English Mastiffs and a Jack Russell Cross. I’m a compassionate, reliable and responsible person that is genuinely interested in your pet’s care, and safety. Paws in Motion is fully licensed, insured and bonded. References available upon request.
